How it began...
Est. 2018...
Pooch Pack was born from our passion and love for dogs, and finding a gap in the market where the service that would best suit our own dog, Miley, was unavailable. We needed something that was less intense than day care but more stimulating than "a walk"; then we thought - Hey! here's a chance to create something cool, and bring joy to the dogs of Hamilton!
The Journey...
Over the years since, we've continued to grow our knowledge, skills and clientele; we now work with over 60 different dogs per week and continue to learn from them and their unique personalities.
There's been ups and downs, we've had dogs fill our hearts and break hearts; above all else we have found that all of our doggos become extended family, they're like nephews and nieces and we find great reward in just how much our service means to them and their humans.
About us
Ced founded Pooch Pack with huge support from his wife Angie, and brother, Stu. He left the office life behind to work with the dogs, enjoy the outdoors and run Pooch Pack. Angie and Ced's dog, Miley was the inspiration for Pooch Pack and Salt was their very first client who they ended up adopting.
Although in the field less these days, Ced continues to be the main point of contact for all our new and existing customers.
Pack Leader Stu...
In 2019, we welcomed Stu to the team! Who had really been a part of Pooch Pack since the beginning!
Stu is trained in animal care and shares our passion for helping dogs live a happy and fun life. He runs five packs a week and has developed very close bonds with so many clients, he'll go above and beyond in caring for all his puppers!
Along came Bandit and Rochelle...
Bandit joined Pooch Pack in 2023 and then convinced his mum to come join the pack in 2024!
Rochelle joined the team in pursuit of a new career she could really get passionate about. She is naturally caring, compassionate and observant with an attention to detail that really lifts the quality of her trips to the forest and satisfies the individual needs of every dog.
